It was sore for a few days and then seemed fine.

Last Thursday afternoon, I spent about 3 hours bush-hogging around the barn, apple trees, etc. using my Dad’s tractor. It has a hard and heavy clutch and, because what I was doing, I was clutching a lot.

I quit early, around 5:30 pm to go watch Ellie play softball. My ankle was hurting and I stopped at a store and got some ibuprofen

I rarely take stuff like ibuprofen, so I expect small dosages to work. They didn’t. When I got off the bleachers after Ellie’s game, I was hobbling.

Last Friday, I laid on the bed with an ice pack on my ankle until 10 am and then went at and tried to do some work.

Jenifer had to do all the harvesting alone last Friday and came to the conclusion that I just might be actually doing some work around here.

I did not do anything Saturday except go to market and came home and stayed off my feet. Did not do much Sunday either except ride with Carl to Taylorsville.

Neighbor and fellow farmer Carl Wangner, found a deal on greenhouse tables via Craig’s List and we drove up to Taylorsville Sunday morning to get them.
