Normally a fall pest, we have been over run this spring with Harliquin bugs.
I think it is because we had fall/winter crops of collards, which is a host for them. I have sprayed them twice. EeeeK!!! Laughing Owl Farm sprays stuff.
Yes we do, we spray a lot of stuff. Neptune’s Harvest, which is a fish/seaweed emulsion that works wonders and stinks to high heaven.
We also use organic pesticides, Dipel and Pyoganic.
We are hesitant about using even certified organic controls. I bought a quart of pyganic in August 2006. I still have half a bottle left, I use it very sparely.
