Fire Ants

We got millions of them across the road I believe, literally.

I sowed over 6,000 row/feet of fall crops 2 weeks ago and there is fire ant activity in almost every row. They will steal the seeds and carry them back to their hill. Not holding out much hope for that patch.

We set out 48 cabbage transplants for sauerkraut making this winter and the fire ants have started a mound around each plant and they have all flopped over except for 3 or 4 plants.
